We register boats in Holland, the Netherlands
Welcome on our website Dutchyachtregistration.com (DYR). Our specialty is to register your motor or sailing boat, jet ski, canoe or water scooter in Holland, fast and with minimal paperwork. We will register your boat from 299 Euro which includes everything and with no hidden fees. The Dutch Boat Registration is a EU ownership Registration (ICP) which is valid for private boat use and is valid in nearly all countries of the EU.
The Dutch registration is actually a document of ownership but in that capacity, is accepted in most European countries when arriving in a port and handing over your documents. The only country were the Dutch document occasionally gives problems, is Portugal and therefore we recommend clients that visit Portugal to use one of our other registrations, which are actual flag registrations and accepted all around the world. The Dutch ICP document can be obtained in 3 days, so it is ideal if you just bought a boat in another country and need to bring it home to where you live within Europe.
Use us to register your private yacht in Holland
Holland is one of the most widely chosen jurisdictions for ship registration. There are a few important reasons to register your sail or motor boat in Holland; It is available for all nationalities, there are less restrictions and the registration process is more efficient than in other EU countries plus the costs are much lower. Most of our clients are Spanish, French, Italian, Russian etc. They have very strict provisions under their own countries boat registrations and have found out that it is much easier and at a lower cost to register in Holland.
We can provide you with a MMSI, ATIS and Callsign within 24 hours for your vessel. With this license, that will be issued by the Dutch Telecom Authorities, you can use a VHF, AIS and EPIRB on your boat.
Since it is very easy for us to obtain an MMSI license for your vessel, we highly recommend our clients to get this while applying for the Dutch ownership document. It only takes us 1 day to obtain your license and we only need a copy of your passport to apply. Having a MMSI license onboard avoids problems when you are checked by local authorities.
To Help You Decide On Where To Register You Boat
Here is the simple guide
The first thing to understand is that under which flag you sail has nothing to do with your nationality! All the registrations we offer are available to any nationality. In some cases we need to put the ownership of your vessel in a new dormant company (that you own) in order to comply with the rules but this is only an advantage, as these companies also offer you protection from liability and have several other advantages.

The Belgium registration is an actual flag registration and is therefore accepted around the world with no issues at all. The nice thing about the Belgium registration is that it is valid for 5 years. There is a small, one-time tax to be paid if you register in Belgium and it depends on the age of the boat (see details on our site). IMPORTANT: The Belgium government wants to make it a lot harder for non-Belgium citizens to register under Belgium flag and will introduce changes later in the year. We therefor recommend clients who want to use this option to register fast with us, as once you have the registration, it will still be valid for 5 years.
The Delaware (USA) registration is very straight forward with minimal paperwork, no survey needed and can be obtained within 3 days. It is valid around the world and is highly recommended.
The Malta flag is also available for any nationality but is used more by boat owners with larger yachts or for commercial operations as the fees are a bit higher than most other jurisdictions.
The United Kingdom (UK) registration entitles you to fly the red ensign flag which is held in high regard within the maritime community. The paperwork is not that much and the flag is valid for 5 years and offers a very easy renewal process. The registration is similar in the UK for both private use as well as for commercial use and the fees are the same.
The Polish flag is probably our best value flag as the registration process is simple, with no inspections to be done and the best part is; you get the registration for life, so no more renewals! Since Poland is a full European Union member, this flag document is accepted anywhere in the world and comes in 4 languages. We take care of the whole process for you and translate all your current boat papers into Polish as part of our fee.
